MICHAELA + JACK: A BEAUTIFUL SPRING CYNTHIANA COUPLES SESSION
Today's blog post features a couple that I hold very close to my heart. If you don't already know, Michaela is my best friend & sister-in-law, and Jack is her incredible husband & the best brother-in-law. They are also the most amazing Auntie and Uncle to my two little ones.

They are seriously the sweetest couple, and I’m so happy they found each other. They are both so kind, fun, and beautiful on the inside & out. They deserve all the happiness in the world! I had the honor of taking their engagement photos back in 2018, and it has been such a joy to get to capture their journey as they grow together.

When Michaela told me she wanted to schedule a couples photoshoot, I was so excited. I always have the best time with these two. We were worried that we might get rained out, but thankfully the rain heard our pleas and ended up stopping just when we needed it to!
We started the session off at a lovely location nestled between Cythiana and Georgetown that I just recently found. It's so gorgeous and offers lots of variety!

Then we headed to downtown Cynthiana for our second location. As soon as I saw Michaela’s dress, I knew we had to get ice cream cones and channel some Noah & Allie vibes. We only made it to The Sweet Boutique a few minutes before they closed, but they were kind enough to get us some cones anyways!

I had so much fun with this session and was so excited to edit their gallery that I got it edited in record time. I am so obsessed with how they turned out. I'm already dying to get them in front of my camera again soon. I love love and am so lucky I get to capture it through my photography.
If you're looking to capture beautiful moments between you and your partner, don't hesitate to reach out! I would love to help you create memories that will last a lifetime.

I want to leave you with this beautiful poem Michaela wrote for Jack on their first wedding anniversary that I think describes their love so perfectly:
Sky blue eyes
And hands as
Gentle as
The winds in autumn.
Love had always been
Fierce
And passion
And anger.
Shouted words meant to sting
Until I met
Sky blue eyes
And hands as
Gentle as
The winds in autumn.
Now love is
Laughter
And joy
And calm understanding
All thanks to
Sky blue eyes
And hands as
Gentle as
The winds in autumn.
